Mansur Brown returns with the Naqi Mixtape - an LP that combines both Naqi EPs from earlier in the year. Side A finds Mansur exploring the influence of ‘00s hip-hop innovator Timbaland and Afrobeats artists like Burna Boy and Wizkid. Side B pares things right back: a laid-back set that showcases Brown’s mercurial, effects-treated playing without interruption.
